How Clover Register Users Edit Business Information in Clover Online

First, it's important to note that this support section is for users that have a Clover Register account. If you're using Clover Online only, then please visit this section. Not sure what kind of account you have? Click here.    

As a Clover Register user, your payment gateway is already connected to your store, and your business information has already been provided. However, you'll need to check your business information for accuracy before proceeding to the next step. 

Log into clover.com if you aren't already and open the Clover Online application, which should be installed from step one of the quick-start guide. The app will redirect your to the Clover Online checklist. Once on the checklist, scroll to the setting section and click the "Review" link.

Double check the fields to make sure your business information, address, and contact info. are all correct.

 

Right underneath your business information, you’ll notice a field titled, “Site Configuration.” Here, you can select your language and change/edit your website URL. To change your URL, click the green "Change" link. To select a different language, simply click the dropdown underneath "Language" and select the option that works best for you.  

 

If you're changing your URL, you can keep the mycloveronline.com portion, or get rid of this completely by selecting the “Set a Custom Domain Your Own” option. Go ahead and insert a domain name that you own. When you’re done, click “Save.”

 

Additionally, if you already have a website, you can point your name servers to your Clover Online. You'll need to log into your domain register, for example, GoDaddy, and authorize this action. 

Finally, you have the option to add your business hours. To take advantage of this function, go to the section underneath "Business Hours" and click the "Add Hours" link.

This will bring up a dropdown where you can fill in fields for your hours. 

It's important to note that when you type a number in, an AM/PM drop down will auto-populate. You will need to select one or the other, AM or PM. Also, you'll need to put your store hours in for each individual day. If you do not put a time into a day, you will appear closed on that day. If you are closed for a day or days, for example, Sunday, just leave the requisite times blank, or click the corresponding green trash can. 

Save your changes. Now, when you enter your live store, you'll see your business hours at the bottom center of your website. Using the above example, you can see my business hours, open 9AM-5PM Monday-Saturday, and closed on Sunday, reflected below:
