How to Set a Shipping Rate by Order Total

Hi, and welcome back to Clover Online. Let’s show you how to set a shipping rate based on the total dollar amount of the order.

Scroll over to the right-hand side of your dashboard to “settings” and click “Review” to access your ecommerce store settings page, which you can also get to from the main menu.

In the Shipping section click “Review.” Click the “Add Shipping Rate” button .

Select a country that you’ll be shipping to. Then, select “By Order Total” as the type. Name your shipping rate. Give it a name specific to this rate, and add the expected delivery time. (Type: Standard Shipping).

Click, “Add Another Range” and Define your ranges and the amount you’d like to charge for those ranges. My first range is going to be for order totals of zero to 100 dollars. For that, I’ll charge $4. And, for my next range, I’ll go 100-200 as the range, and $3 as the rate, and finally, any orders totaling $200 and up will be charged $2. That’s all the ranges I need for my store, but if you need more ranges, simply click “Add Another Range” and repeat these steps until completion.

When you’re done, click save. And there’s my new shipping rate. It was that easy! For more helpful how-to videos, such as “How to set a Weight-based Shipping rate,” visit support.mycloveronline.com.
