First, it's important to note that this support section is for users that have a Clover Online account only. If you have a clover.com account and are using other Clover services, such as Clover POS, please visit this section. Not sure what kind of account you have? Click here.
You should have received an email with a link to activate your Clover Online account. Click that activation link to go to Clover Online and enter your email address, mobile number, and a password. Your password should be at least nine characters and one special character ([email protected]#, etc.) Please sure to enter your mobile number in the exact format seen below.
For maximum security, you'll now be sent an authorization code either via email or cell phone. Enter the authorization code.
Enter your store name, then click Sign up.
After you accept the terms and services you'll be redirected to the Clover Online admin interface, which will welcome you with a couple of key feature previews.
The first slide lets you know about our design templates, while the second emphasizes you can launch your website at any time. Yes, even right after you click the application, without anymore work put into it. It will be very basic—no photos, no product descriptions— but you can launch the site and start selling inventory right away.
You can even launch the default, work on the design or store settings, keep the default launched, and come back and do more work later until you're done and have a beautiful, detailed site.
Lastly, we want to emphasize our robust client support portal, support.mycloveronline.com. You're reading this, so you've already found us, but you can go straight to the support site by clicking any of the question mark icons. There will always be one on the sidebar to your left, between "settings" and "logout."
After these previews, you'll be welcomed by the landing page and presented with two options:
If you just want a clean website experience without ecommerce, click the left option "Create Website." If you want to build a fully functional ecommerce site, click "Build Store."
The Business Website option will leave you with three options: Customize your design, review your settings, or add the Clover Online portion, which you can do at any point.
For merchants who want to build an online store, they'll be presented with a launch checklist that offers a few more features. First and foremost, again, you can launch right now with the basic default settings if you want.
The rest of the steps you can do whenever you want, and in whatever order you want.
