How to Add a Tax Rate in Clover Online

First, it's important to note that this support section is for users that have a Clover Online account only. If you're using other Clover services, such as Clover POS, please visit this section. Not sure what kind of account you have? Click here.

 

From your pre-launch checklist, scroll over to the store settings section and click "configure."

From here, click "Review" again inside the taxes field.

On the next screen, click "Add Tax Rate" in the top right. 

This will bring up the fields where you'll add a new tax rate, name and location.

Name your tax rate something easy to remember. Since this is a rate for customers in Maryland, a good name would simply be, "Maryland." In the Tax Rate field to the right, insert the appropriate tax rate, and then choose the country and State/Province.

In the bottom right of the tax descriptions, click save when you're done.
